Laura Ernst, Kinetic Entertainment Juggler, Acrobat, Aerialist! With something for everyone, Laura Ernst has a variety of stunts that range from death defying to ridiculously funny. It's full to the brim with outrageously funny moments and audience participation. Her show gets rolling inside a human-sized hamster ball! Add that to the international award winning juggling, astounding acrobatic stunts and high flying aerial fabric over 25 feet in the air and you've got a show that just can't be missed! When she was little, her dad told her that if she picked a career that she truly loved then she would never have to work a day of her life. This probably wasn't what he had in mind. After joyfully juggling her way through college, Laura won 1st place at the World Juggling Federation, ranking her as one of the best jugglers in the world. Then on the fifth season of America's Got Talent Laura performed inside her human-sized hamster ball, a prop that was so impressive that it made Howie Mandel exclaim, “I love you! You are my soul mate.” Never settling for average, Laura has invented props and brought new life to old favorites. She has performed all over the world and now resides in Des Moines, Iowa with her wonderful husband/assistant Ryan. |

Originally started in 1975 by Jim "Hoolie" DeCaire and Joe Potila as a working dance band, Da Yoopers have been putting a smile on faces all over the world now for over 30 years with their off-beat musical comedy act. Their music and comedy is both a reflection and a celebration of the culture found in one of the U.S’s most unique areas--The Upper Peninsula of Michigan--as well as exaggerating some of the stereotypes that are attributed to the residents of the U.P. Over the years, Da Yoopers have held fast to a Do-It-Yourself work ethic recording and releasing their own albums and securing national distribution for their label. They’ve proven that through hard work and longevity you don’t need to be located in a large city to become successful in the music industry. Even though a lot of their comedy is regionally oriented, they’ve managed to strike a chord with people outside the midwest with radio stations all over the world regulartly playing their music. They are probably best known for their two biggest hits "Rusty Chevrolet" and "The Second Week of Deer Camp" though many other novelty songs are often incorrectly attributed to Da Yoopers including "Da Turdy Point Buck" and "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" to name a few. Da Yoopers are still performing live and even though they’ve gone through many personnal changes over the years, the core has remained constant: all the members are proud and tough residents of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! |

Featuring Florence LaRue. In 1967, a little known vocal group called The 5th Dimension recorded a song called “Up, Up and Away” which turned out to be one of the biggest smash hits in musical history. The single won several Grammy Awards, the group capitulated to stardom, and their story has been one of success ever since. The 5th Dimension has released over a dozen hit albums and received 14 gold records, 6 platinum records and 6 Grammy Awards. Their classics include such hits as: “ Up, Up, and Away,” “One Less Bell To Answer,” “Wedding Bell Blues,” “Stone Soul Picnic,” “Last Night I Didn’t Get To Sleep,” and “Aquarius/Let The Sun Shine In.” Preferring for the group to be innovators rather than imitators, original member Florence LaRue, along with Willie Williams, Leonard Tucker, Patrice Morris and Floyd Smith, has put together a show and sound that is truly their own, with more vocal range than ever and material that is fresh and varied. She also works hard to remain true to the sound of The 5th Dimension’s original recordings. |
